Master teacher, Cheryl Milligan’s recorded voice was heard throughout the Demo Studio Exhibit with a carefully described demonstration of the paper ribbon drawing shown with sculpture and visual diagrams. Milligan’s analysis of observational drawing chronicles a journey of seeing rarely articulated with such precise accuracy.

As a fantastic addition to the Demo Studio Show, the demonstrations and diagrams of artist, Timothy Winkler, provided an important view into an artist’s knowledge and process. Taking the Venn Diagram to new levels, Ms. Fisher’s installation chronicles the evolution of a student’s work through collected conversations, images, and materials assembled in a web of dialog.

In an effort to capture and display all of the phenomenal teacher made demonstrations that were submitted for the Demo Studio exhibit, the demo wall showed an array of “how to” examples.
Call for Art
If you are teaching, you may be starting to think about packing away all of those demos and class work as the year is winding down. Be sure to set aside a few things for the Demo Studio art call!
